Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Waste Warriors app and website (the "Service") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The Service is operated by Waste Warriors, LLC ("Waste Warriors," "we," "us").
Information we collect
- Account information: your username, password (stored only as a one-way hash), role, and, if you were invited by email, your email address.
- Business information: your business name, owner name, phone number, trucks, parking spots, and dump locations that you enter.
- Customer and job records that businesses enter: customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, service addresses, scheduling details, and service report details such as gallons pumped, findings, and repairs. This is the business's own customer data; we process it on the business's behalf to run the Service.
- Technical information: basic server logs such as IP address and device/browser type, used to keep the Service secure and working.
The app does not track your device's location, does not use advertising or analytics trackers, and does not sell personal information.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: scheduling, dispatch, routing maps, reports, and notifications.
- To send emails and text messages related to service, such as booking confirmations, "on the way" alerts, service summaries, reminders, and driver invitations.
- To secure accounts, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
Service providers we share data with
We use trusted providers only as needed to operate the Service:
- Hosting: Render (stores the application and its database).
- Email: Google (email delivery) and Resend (marketing/campaign emails).
- Text messages: Twilio.
- Maps and addresses: OpenStreetMap / Nominatim receives service addresses to place jobs on the map; map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap.
- Planning assistance: Google Gemini may receive a job's city/town and time window (not customer names or contact details) to suggest a dump location.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
Data retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account yourself at any time in the app: open your profile (👤), scroll to Delete My Account, and confirm. Deleting a driver or technician account removes that login. Deleting a business owner account removes the business and its data, including trucks, locations, jobs on those trucks, and all logins belonging to that business. You can also ask us to delete data by contacting support below. Backups are overwritten on a regular schedule.
Your choices
- Update your username and password from your profile at any time.
- Customers who no longer wish to receive marketing emails can use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Ask to access, correct, or delete your information by contacting support.
Security
Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and access is limited by role and business. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Children
The Service is for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
